Tis the season to bring out the giant boxes of decorations and the tangles of Christmas lights that once you get untangled you plug in and realize that only half of the string is working! After searching the whole string, testing all the bulbs and shocking yourself one too many times in the process, you plug the string back in and lo and behold now the whole string doesn't work. So you run to your local Wal-Mart to get just ONE new string of lights and walk out with not one but TWO carts full of new Christmas decorations because Wal-Mart always has low prices and you may never find a deal like this again. Once you're back and your home is decorated you spend the rest of the season keeping the kids (and husband) from eating the decorations, knocking down the tree and breaking your favorite nativity set. While at the same time wrapping oddly shaped presents for everyone you've ever talked too, then hiding them in every corner of your home hoping that at the same time your kids (and husband) won't find them even with all of their hard searching. Tis the season of hot cocoa, snow angels and running like chickens with our heads cut off. And when the day after thanksgiving is finally over and you have survived you're first day of the Christmas season, you lay your head down on you pillow hoping to dream of sugar plum fairies but really end up dreaming about doing it all again tomorrow and the next day until the day after Christmas! I LOVE THIS WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!

hello lindsays! i found your blog through janell cropper's. i'm an old pal of shaun's from ld's...good times!

can i just say you have the cutest kid ever! (excepting mine, of course) :) he's almost as old as yours, so it's fun to see another baby at about the same stage.
