New Beginnings
This year I didn't make any resolutions, in fact I usually don't make resolutions and I'm not sure why, I just don't. I figure if I really want to do something and really want to set a goal I guess I'll do it whenever I'm ready and not just because it's the beginning of the year. Yet it does seem like a good time to make new goals though. I am hoping though that we can get some things accomplished this year, like Shaun finding a new job and us finally getting to move and settle down somewhere. Along with little things like trying to keep my house cleaner and trying to live a healthier lifestyle Shaun and I are going to be embarking on a really big step this year. We have both decided to begin the adoption process. We are going to start working on our home study as soon as possible and get a website up and going with our information on it, I will let everyone know when it's actually done. We have decided though that we want to do a private adoption and so we are going to be doing the work ourselves in finding a birth mother who is looking to place her child with a family like us. As soon as we can I'll be passing out little cards to everyone I know and letting everyone I have ever known and people I don't know that we are wanting to adopt in hopes that someone may lead me to a birth mother. Everyone that I have told so far is very very excited for us, I am pretty nervous at the moment though rather then excited. I know that the road ahead is going to be very hard, long and at times heartbreaking but I feel if we can complete our family with one more little one then it will all be more than worth it. So if you can, remember us and our family and what we are hoping to accomplish and if you know of anyone who is looking for a loving family to place their child with tell them about us. We would really appreciate any help anyone is willing to give us.

So excited for you Jes, good luck and keep us posted how the process is going! Love you girl!
So happy for you all and sorry we haven't seen you. We stopped by before Christmas and you weren't home and since we've just been hanging out. Your family is in our prayers and we will keep a watch and ear out for your endeavors.
