Crime Fighting and the Zoo

We took Daniel to the zoo this last weekend and I think this is his first trip to the zoo that he actually kinda had an idea of what was going on.  I think the last time he went to the zoo he was only maybe 4 or 5 months old,  so he really enjoyed it this time.  We met up with Rob and Jess, Shaun's brother and his wife and our cute little niece and nephew Cam and Luke.  We had so much fun seeing all the different animals even though Shaun actually wasn't there most of the day.  He took off with my dad to hunt down and catch bad guys.  The day before my dad had bought a Rosetta Stone from a guy off  KSL, when he got it home it turned out it fraudulent and wouldn't work. So when my dad tried calling the guy back the  number didn't work anymore and they couldn't find him.  Well so my dad and Shaun did some researching on KSL again and found the guy selling another one under another name with a new number but all of the other info was right.  So Shaun called the guy up and told him he wanted to buy his Rosetta Stone, they got a time all set up to meet and Shaun and my dad took off to catch the dirty rat in the act.  Well they found the guy and he bolted when he saw my dad, but of course Shaun and Dad being the detectives they are followed the guy to his work, where he once again bolted from there too, but dad and Shaun talked to his boss about the guy and the guy paid my dad the money the guy cheated him out of and just asked dad not to call the cops.  (by the by he was a used car sales men, go figure)  Well of course dad told him of course he was calling the cops cause now they were pretty sure that the guys boss was a part of the scam somehow too.  Shaun met us later as we were leaving the zoo and he couldn't stop singing the theme song to the show Psych. Then when Luke lost his binky Shaun said it took a detective to find it and then went to work looking for it, then he pealed out of the zoo parking lot and said that's how crime fighting detectives drive. He was so funny, he kept referring to himself as detective Shaun. Dad and Shaun even gave themselves code names,  Shaun and his side kick, Will-he-do-it.  (My dad's name is Will) It's something they will talk about forever and always be like "Hey, remember that time that we fought crime?"  As for us back at the zoo we had a fun time watching all the animals,  the baby elephant was probably the cutest of all, although I the picture I have up of Daniel with the monkey and the squirrel is pretty cute.  The squirrel is probably one of my favorites cause it was just so cute following Daniel around in his little box.  It was a fun day for all of us, especially for the crime fighting duo.
