We waited till the night before Halloween to carve pumpkins this year since I totally kept slacking on actually getting some pumpkins this year. But I finally got some pumpkins and Daniel got to help this year carving. We didn't have our little carving tools this year, I couldn't find them, I think I've packed them somewhere all safe so I wouldn't lose them and now I can't find the safe spot I stuck them in. so we used regular knives to carve and spoons to gut them. Daniel thought the gutting part was pretty slimy but he was enjoying himself. He kept saying he wanted Shaun to carve it like a sheet that looked like a ghost, and we couldn't figure out exactly how he wanted it so after a little while of explaining it to us he finally just said he wanted a scary face, so we went with a generic scary face. Shaun carved a giant spider and I just carved a scared face, and of course we didn't get a picture of all of them, but I'll just say they looked amazing, well as amazing as it can get with old knives. :)
